When we designed the SOL sailboat, we did not overlook comfortability. While safety, durability, ease of use, and longevity were at the forefront of our minds, we also considered ways to make your time on (and off) the water more comfortable. Learn about our unique design and how we take comfort to the next level at SERO Innovation.
Nonskid Padding
Nonskid padding is a cushioned layer that can cover your boat’s topside and cockpit to provide a non-slip surface. This makes it easier and more comfortable to sit and neal on your boat and makes it less likely that the watery surface will cause you to slip. At SERO Innovation, we utilize SeaDek, a durable, closed-cell EVA foam material known for its resistance to water, UV rays, and harsh marine conditions. You can also choose from seven colors to customize your aesthetic while enhancing your boat’s safety and traction.
Ergonomic handles
The beauty of the SOL Sailboat is in the details (like our magnetic cupholders). We have equipped our boat with ergonomic handles typically used on kayaks. Sail with ease and style with our handles designed for comfort and control, and they come in seven vibrant colors to match your boat’s style. The handles are also great for clipping or tying valuable items onto!
Comfortably fits passengers
Welcome aboard passengers like a sailing instructor, friend, grandkid, or pet with ease! There is plenty of room for two people and a small child or furry friend. We often hear our boat is perfect for beginners because it is easy to use and easily fits an instructor who can show you the ropes!
Lightweight
Nothing about carrying a heavy boat is comfortable. That’s why we designed our boat to take on little to no water retention after your voyages. Each SOL Sailboat weighs about 120 pounds, making it easy to transfer from land to water, especially if you have a Dynamic Dolly.
Bonus feature for tall people: Open cockpit
Your knees won’t be up to your chest in the SOL Sailboat despite its economic size! Our open cockpit allows tall folks to stretch their legs while hitting the waves.
