Fall and Winter are the best times to build your fleet! Our strongest camp promotions typically begin in August and September, with additional opportunities offered throughout the fall and into early January. The best time to prepare for next summer is before the busy spring season begins.

Planning ahead may also allow you to secure current pricing before potential new-year increases caused by material costs, inflation, transportation expenses, trade policies, and other changing market conditions.

A timeless classic that has helped countless campers discover the sport!
Its simple rig, responsive handling and recognizable design make it an excellent teaching platform. Beginners can quickly understand the fundamentals, while more experienced sailors can continue building boat-handling and racing skills. Today’s SERO Sunfish also features modern construction without internal foam blocks, helping prevent the hull from becoming waterlogged over time.
Each complete boat includes everything needed to start sailing, with your choice of hull and sail color. Standard wood blades can be upgraded to longer-lasting composite blades, and options such as rubrails, bow bumpers, mainsheet hangers, SeaDek, covers, dollies, and more can be added.
Best suited for: Individual or group instruction, beginner through advanced sailors. 1-3 sailors
The SOL was created using all the exact same design and components as the Sunfish, but with a larger cockpit that provides additional space and comfort. It can accommodate a wider range of sailors and gives programs greater flexibility for instruction.
Modernized construction and an integrated splashguard provide added strength and durability for the demands of an active camp program. With its accessible setup, responsive handling, and classic feel, the SOL is a versatile recreational and teaching platform for sailors at every skill level.
Best suited for: In-boat instruction, beginner through advanced sailors. 1-3 sailors, depending on size & goal.
The SOL‑R builds on the proven design and familiar sailing characteristics of the Sunfish, using the same hull, cockpit, rig, and components. Its responsive handling makes it approachable for beginners while remaining engaging for experienced sailors.Â
Designed specifically for the demands of high-use programs, the SOL‑R combines modernized construction with a raised deck ridge and integrated splashguard for increased strength and durability. These features help prevent common damage to the coaming and foredeck, improving reliability and reducing long-term maintenance.
The SOL‑R has already been proven in a demanding camp environment: the largest sailing summer camp in the country has been using its SOL‑R fleet since 2024.
Best suited for: Camps and sailing programs that value the familiarity of the Sunfish but need enhanced durability, reliability, and reduced long-term maintenance. 1-3 sailors, depending on their size and the program’s goals
The Fusion I is designed to help newer sailors feel secure while learning the fundamentals. Its stable platform and protected cockpit make it approachable for young beginners, while the multiple available sail configurations allow programs to adapt the boat as sailors gain confidence. Sail configurations include combinations of mainsail, jib, and gennaker, and the mainsail can be reefed to reduce sail area for greater control in higher winds.
Built with a nearly maintenance-free HDPE hull, durable aluminum blades, and fewer parts to break or wear out, the Fusion I is designed to withstand the demands of a busy camp program. Often considered the Laser Pico 2.0, it is also compatible with most Pico parts, making it easier for programs with existing boats to transition or expand their fleets.
Best suited for: Programs that prioritize stability, flexibility, and storage efficiency, beginner through advanced. 1-3 sailors
The Fusion II offers a stable, spacious platform for teaching sailing and enjoying the water with a group. Its deep, roomy cockpit and forward-facing bench provide comfortable seating for sailors of different ages and experience levels. With room for up to four sailors, it is well suited for instructor-led lessons, group instruction, and recreational sailing.
The roller-furling jib can be easily deployed or put away, while the reefing mainsail allows programs to reduce sail area for greater control in higher winds. An optional gennaker gives more advanced sailors another way to build their skills. Its durable, nearly maintenance-free HDPE hull and aluminum blades are designed to handle the demands of an active camp program.
Best suited for: Group instruction, instructor-led sailing, older or advancing sailors, adult sailing programs. 1-4 sailors
